Whether you are doing to a 3, 5, or 7-Day cleanse program, you will want to mentally and physically prepare. While cleansing is a great way to break back into healthy eating habits, it is important to remember that most people experience some sort of detox reaction during a cleanse. The tips below are designed to help make the transition easier on your mind and body. Lastly, making sure you’re consuming your juices approximately every 2 hrs. will ensure that your hunger cravings are satisfied. Please keep in mind to always listen to your body and stay hydrated. You know your body best and it’s important to honor your needs. We hope you enjoy your cleanse experience and feel refreshed thereafter. The benefits are endless. Happy Juicing! Before your Cleanse:
If you want the most positive results, choose to reduce the consumption of the food items below 24 hrs prior to starting your juice cleanse. Most people do the opposite and think because they are starting a cleanse they can binge on unhealthy foods and alcohol but it’s the exact opposite of that. The more toxins in your body the higher chance of headaches and discomfort during your detox.

Ø Caffeine
Ø White Foods (processed or packaged food, dairy, sugar, white flour)
Ø Meat
Ø Over-the-counter medication (unless it was prescribed by a professional medical physician)
1. Stay on schedule –You will receive 5 juices per day. If you take your juices over 12 hours, you will feel satisfied. The key is to drink your first juice within 2 hours of waking up and drink your last juice 2 hours before you go to sleep. Even if you “feel good” in the moment, do not skip a juice. This could leave you feeling hungry later and may result in a blood sugar crash. We recommend drinking your juice in the order it is designed. The daily order of the juices could vary. (For example, any bundle of juices can be taken on Day 1, 2, 3, etc... If they are taken in consecutive order as numbered) Contact me for any questions.
2. Lime Water – 8oz, served warm. Drink first thing in the morning. It will help keep you hydrated, replenish lost nutrients in the body and can help prevent constipation.
3. Break a Sweat – Sweating is the most efficient way to eliminate toxins. Try a high cardio activity for at least 30-45 minutes each day. Workouts to consider are a brisk walk, cycling, hot yoga and running.
4. Understand if you’re hungry vs. just missing the sensation of chewing. *Grab a piece of gum or a cup of ice and power through it. You can do it! * If you’re feeling severe cramps and truly are hungry. Honor your body with a wholesome, unprocessed snack then jump right back into your cleanse. Simple foods to consider are vegetable broth, steamed or baked green vegetables (no butter), handful of nuts, avocado, a green salad (no cheese) or a piece of fruit.
